I am an associate professor in the Division of Thoracic Surgery, Department of Surgery at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. I completed my general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan. My clinical interests are related to thoracic oncology and benign/malignant esophageal disease. I completed my research fellowship in health services research during two years of dedicated academic development time at the Center for Healthcare Outcomes and Policy at the University of Michigan. My research interests are related to understanding the factors underlying variations in surgical/oncologic outcomes in early-stage lung cancer.
