I have been working in cardiac surgery research at Johns Hopkins since 2022. My research focuses on large animal modeling of cardiac sugery, with a primary interest in medical devices and surgical repairs of structural heart disease. Previously I worked in cardiac surgery research with the University of Maryland, Baltimore, focusing on surgical repair of functional mitral regurgitation, and Children's Mercy Hospital (Kansas City, MO) where I studied tissue engineering of allograft heart valves for pediatric applications.
