I am the current Alley Sheridan Chair and Chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. My practice is in adult cardiac surgery with a focus on aortic valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm and dissection and mitral valve repair. In addition to clinical practice, I am involved in teaching for the ACGME cardiothoracic residency program at Albany Medical Center, and active in clinical research. I serve on the Society of Thoracic Surgeons Committee on Coding and Reimbursment and am the Society's alternative member to the AMA RUC.
