Dr. Bonner completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University and her medical education at University of California-San Francisco. Her passion for surgery and health services research led her to complete her Master’s in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health focused on Health Policy during medical schol. During the completion of her MPH, she conducted research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology focused on disparities in oncologic care delivery. During academic development time, she copmeted a post-doctoral fellowships in both the National Clinician Scholars Program and NIH T32 Research Training Program in Lung Disease at the University of Michigan. She is an administrative chief residet in General Surgery at the University of Michigan and will begin cardiothoracic fellowship at Stanford University in 2025.
