Arman Kilic serves as the John M. Kratz Endowed Chair in Cardiac Surgery and Surgical Director of the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program at the Medical University of South Carolina. His clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, including minimally invasive approaches to these operations. His academic focus and extramural funding is in artificial intelligence and machine learning as it applies to cardiac surgery. He also serves as PI on several clinical trials.
