I am an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado, where I am an adult cardiac surgeon and surgical intensivist. I am the co-director of the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and the director of the ECMO program. My clinical interests include heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, and cardiac critical care. I have a strong interest in surgical education and am one of the Associate Program Directors of the thoracic surgery residency at the University of Colorado.
