Barbara C.S. Hamilton is the Cheryl Huey MD Early Career Professor and Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery specializing in aortic and cardiac disease treatment and research. She sees patients with a variety of aortic and cardiac diseases, including those with aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm, aortic valve disease, coronary disease, and mitral valve disease. Her current research interests focus on aortic outcomes research as well as human factors research as it relates to achieving peak surgical performance.
