Joseph C. Cleveland, Jr., MD is an adult cardiac surgeon at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center. Dr. Cleveland is the Chief, Division of CT Surgery. Dr. Cleveland is an active clinical surgeon with expertise in mitral valve surgery, VAD, Cardiac Transplantation and Structural Heart Disease. He engages in clinical trials research and served as one of the 4 National Co-Principal Investigators for the MOMENTUM 3 Trial. He is a passionate educator who seeks to train and develop the next generation of cardiac surgeons. Dr. Cleveland is a member of the AMA RVS Update Commitee (RUC) and has been actively involved in coding and reimbursement for the STS since 2006.
