Dr. Anna Ciullo, MD, FACEP, is a dual-trained physician specializing in emergency medicine and cardiothoracic critical care. After completing her residency in emergency medicine, she pursued an anesthesia critical care fellowship, which has shaped her expertise in managing complex cardiac and critical care patients. Currently, Dr. Ciullo is on faculty at the University of Utah, where she serves in both the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and the Department of Emergency Medicine. As the medical director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and chair of the Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) program, she leads initiatives to improve patient outcomes in cardiac arrest and post-cardiotomy critical care. Her research focuses on resuscitation science and advanced critical care management.
