Danton Char is a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist, clinical researcher, and empirical bioethics researcher at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and Stanford University.
His research strives to improve the well-being of pediatric patients and support the well-being of their caregivers and families. Along with his colleagues, Dr. Char is conducting studies focusing on the impact on patients, families, and clinicians of severe pediatric cardiac illness, implementation of novel technologies to clinical care (such as ventricular assist devices, genomics, and machine learning), and pediatric medical ethics.
