Dr. Tracy Geoffrion is a Congenital Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Children's Wisconsin and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She did her General and Adult Cardiac surgical training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed congenital and post-doctoral research fellowships at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She received the Replogle Traveling Fellowship Award from the the Thoracic Surgery Foundation, doing additional training in adult congenital heart surgery at Mayo Clinic under Dr. Joe Dearani. Her research interests include ethical communication and decision-making in congenital heart disease (CHD) and quality of life outcomes in patients with CHD. She is on the Editorial Board for the Annals of Thoracic Surgery and the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovacular Surgery. She serves as a Feature Editor for Seminars in Thoracic Surgery and contributes to multiple taskforces for the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Congenital Heart Surgeons Society.
