I have the honor and privilege to work as Professor of Surgery and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the
University of Virginia and Co -director of the Cardiovascular Service line for the University of Virginia system. I am a practicing Adult Cardiac Surgeon with
special expertise and interest in thoracic aortic disease, percutaneous heart valve therapy, education, health
care disparities, equity diversity and inclusion in medicine and cardiothoracic surgery.
