My life and my practice as a surgeon is driven by the philosophy of compassion, collaboration, hard work and thriving for excellence. Meticulous planning of the pre and post-operative care and operative procedures is the key to successful surgical outcomes and I live by this principle. I believe everyone is entitled to the best medical care possible irrespective of race, skin color, socio-economic condition or gender.
I believe patient care requires an extensive collaborative approach involving the patients, their family, their caregivers, referring physicians and the surgical team. Every member on this team is equally important and responsible for a good surgical outcome. A good rapport and communication among all the members of this team is vital.
Accuracy and precision are major factors driving the outcome of the surgery and I aspire to improve on them everyday keeping the patient wellbeing my sole priority. The wonderful feeling of seeing the patients get better and go home happy and healthy is enough to get me out my bed every morning and do it all over again.
