Please explain the educational or technical point that this video addresses.: This video address the common issues faced by surgeons who treat patients with significant esophageal motility problems.
Please provide a 250 word summary of the surgical video being submitted.: Need for disimpaction of the esophagus prior to further endoscopic or other surgical procedures can be a frustrating and time consuming process. We provide the detail needed for surgeons to safely employ this method in their practice, covering supplies needed, to set up, and conducting the procedure. This video highlights the ease with which an overtube could be used to address this issue safely and more rapidly.
